Every game during the Little League International Tournament begins the same way — nine players on the field, another holding a bat, and an umpire behind the plate, as anxious as anyone else, pointing toward the mound and shouting, “Play ball!”

While umpires are vital at every level of the Little League International Tournament, the expectations of the volunteers committed to officiating Region and World Series Tournaments are extremely high. We are extremely proud to announce that FIVE of our District Umpires have been selected to fill these post season tournament assignments:

Bill Vikara – Little League Baseball World Series, Williamsport, PA (August 17 – 28)

John Gleason – Little League Baseball Southeast Regional, Warner Robins, GA (August 2 – 10)

Tony Weaver – Junior League Baseball Southeast Regional, Broadway, VA (August 4 – 9)

Ronnie McCoy – Senior League Baseball Southeast Regional, Safety Harbor, FL (July 22 – 27)

Jessi Vikara – Little League Softball Southeast Regional, Warner Robins, GA (July 21 – 27)
